RADAN and SURFCAM, by Vero Software, to be Exhibited at WESTEC 2017, Los Angeles, Calif., Sept 12-14

The RADAN CAD/CAM sheet-metal solution and SURFCAM CAM system, by Vero Software, will be exhibited Sept. 12-14 at WESTEC 2017, hosted at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.

In RADAN 2017, Radmanager’s ability to manage both 2D and 3D engineering of parts is the precursor to an entirely new upcoming engineering system for any type of parts, including 5-axis laser-cut sheet metal, tubes, flat, and bent parts.
This 3D engineering of parts is becoming increasingly important. It will enable manufacturers to break assemblies down from CAD systems and into individual parts to fully understand everything about them.

SURFCAM 2017 R2 introduces a new turning cycle that includes B-axis capabilities for machining on a turning center. This new feature delivers greater accessibility in the machining of complex profiles by dynamically positioning the insert.

As the toolholder is gouge-protected during deployment, users have even more control over toolpath by deploying over-ride angles. This new cycle can be used with all types of turning tools, and for both roughing and finishing operations.

Numerous additional improvements available in SURFCAM 2017 R2 include new and enhanced capabilities for milling, turning, simulation, and wire EDM.
